Up for auction is this ridiculously rare, terminally cool, WORKING Fisher 800-T Tune-O-Matic receiver! The sound on this one is really something special - a criminally underrated 80 WPC that sounds more like tubes than tubes - but the bass punch is pure solid state. Cosmetic condition is VERY GOOD. All lettering is near perfect. Faceplate looks great, with very little wear, though there appears to be rubbing wear near the tune-o-matic dials. Glass is clean and free of scratches, and all bulbs are bright. Original walnut case shows minimal wear, with just a few marks and scratches. Check out detailed photos below. Mechanical/Electronic condition is VERY GOOD. Everything has been tested and everything works as it should, including the tune-o-matic presets. All pots and switches are clean, smooth and free of static. The only issue I've found is that there is sometimes about 2 or 3 seconds of hum when the amp is powered on. It's only as loud as the setting of the volume control, and becomes silent after a quick moment.
